Objective:To analyze the impact of home care and family companionship on hemodialysis patients'quality of life and sleep.Methods:A total of 84 maintenance hemodialysis patients admitted to Zhengxing Hospital in Zhangzhou City,Fujian Prov-ince,from June 2021 to June 2023,were selected as the study subjects.Using a random number table method,they were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 42 cases in each group.The control group received the routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received home continuation nursing and family-accompanying nursing intervention based on the control group.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between the two groups of patients,and the Health Survey Brief(SF-36)was used to compare the changes in the quality of life of the two groups of patients before and after the intervention.Results:After intervention,the PSQI score of the observation group was signifi-cantly lower than that of the control group,and the SF-36 score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Home care and family companionship can effectively improve sleep quality and enhance the quality of life of maintenance hemodialysis patients and are worthy of clinical promotion and application.
