Objective:Analyze the current situation of adolescent depression and sleep disorders and the influencing factors of physical exercise on their sleep quality improvement. Methods:A total of 100 teenage patients admitted to our hospital from Janu-ary 2019 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were evaluated using the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and the Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS).Based on the research results, they were divided into a depression combined with insomnia group(n=80)and an asymptomatic group(n=20),and general information was collected through a questionnaire survey.Univariate analysis was conducted on them,as well as logistic multivariate analysis and receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis.A random number method was used to divide the depression combined with insomnia group into an obser-vation group(with physical exercise)and a control group(without any measures),n=40,to evaluate the improvement effect of their sleep quality. Results:In terms of univariate factors, the proportion of hormone secretion imbalance(yes),economic factors(poverty),per capita monthly household income(<5000 yuan),electronic products(long-term exposure),campus bullying(yes),environmental factors(noisy),family growth(domestic violence),and academic pressure(high)in the depression com-bined with insomnia group were higher than those in the stateless group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The results of logistic regression analysis showed that electronic products(long-term exposure),campus bullying(yes),environmental factors(noisy),family growth(domestic violence),and academic pressure(high)were all independent risk fac-tors for adolescent depression and sleep disorders, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);After interven-tion,the AIS score of the depression combined with insomnia group was lower than before intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion:Many risk factors can lead to depression and sleep disorders in adolescents.Targeted physical exercise is necessary for adolescents who have long-term exposure to electronic devices, campus bullying, environmental factors(noise),family growth(domestic vio-lence),and high academic pressure to improve their sleep quality.
