Objective:To analyze the impact of high-quality nursing interventions throughout the process on the perioperative sleep quality of patients with pituitary tumors. Methods:A total of 140 patients with pituitary tumors admitted to the First Affilia-ted Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Using a random num-ber table method, they were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 70 cases in each group. The con-trol group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received high-quality nursing intervention throughout the entire process. The Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self self-rating anxiety Scale(SAS)were used to compare the im-provement of anxiety and depression in two groups of patients before and after intervention. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality between the two groups of patients before and after intervention. The Short Form of Health Survey(SF-36)was used to compare the changes in quality of life between the two groups of patients before and after intervention and to compare the occurrence of complications in the two groups of patients. Results:After intervention, the SAS score,SDS score, and PSQI score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the SF-36 score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The incidence of complications in the ob-servation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:High-quality nursing intervention can effectively improve the perioperative sleep quality of pa-tients with pituitary tumors, alleviate negative emotions, improve their quality of life, and increase the incidence of complications in the field. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
