Objective:To analyze the effects of aerobic exercise combined with resistance training on cardiovascular risk factors and sleep quality in peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods:A total of 64 patients with end-stage renal disease(ESRD)who under-went maintenance peritoneal dialysis were divided into an intervention group and a control group using a random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. Both groups received continuous non bedridden peritoneal dialysis treatment and routine in-tervention,while the intervention group underwent aerobic exercise and resistance training simultaneously.Compare blood pres-sure,blood lipids, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores between two groups after 12 weeks. Results:After 12 weeks, the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TCH),and low-density lipoprotein cho-lesterol(LDL-C)in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the total PSQI score and in-cidence of insomnia were significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:Aerobic exercise combined with resistance training can re-duce cardiovascular risk factors and improve sleep quality in ESRD patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
