Objective:To study the effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on sleep quality and cognitive function in patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods:A total of 74 patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage admitted to Fujian Provincial Hospital from February to December 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group ac-cording to random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with estazolam, the observation group was treated with estazolam combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.Sleep quality and cognitive function between two groups after treatment were compared. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and polysomnography(PSG)were used to as-sess sleep quality, and the Mini Mental State Scale(MMSE)was used to assess cognitive function. Results:After 10 d and 4 w,the PSQI of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the sleep latency(SL)period was shorter, and the rapid eye movement(REM)sleep time and deep sleep time were longer, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The MMSE scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at 10 days and 4 weeks after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can improve the sleep quality of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage, reduce sleep disorders, and promote cogni-tive function recovery.
