Analyzing the Impact of Pain Intervention Supported by Evidence-based Theory on Improving Pain and Sleep Quality in Postoperative Patients with Mixed Hemorrhoids
Objective:To analyze the impact of pain intervention supported by evidence-based theory on postoperative pain and sleep quality in patients undergoing mixed hemorrhoid surgery. Methods:A total of 80 patients who underwent mixed hemorrhoid surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study sub-jects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received comprehensive pain intervention supported by evidence-based theory. The visual analogue scale(VAS)was used to compare the pain improve-ment effects of two groups of patients before and after intervention. The first defecation time and wound healing time of the two groups of patients were compared. The sleep quality of the patients was monitored using a multi-channel sleep monitoring system, and the improvement effects of edema and wound severity were compared between the two groups of patients. Results:In terms of intervention nursing, the VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The first defeca-tion time and wound healing time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group. The improve-ment effect score of edema and wound severity in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pain intervention supported by evi-dence-based theory can effectively alleviate the postoperative pain level of patients undergoing mixed hemorrhoid surgery, improve their sleep quality, shorten the recovery time of patients undergoing mixed hemorrhoid surgery, improve edema and wound condi-tions,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
