Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy in the treatment of kidney stones and its impact on sleep quality.Methods:A total of 80 patients with kidney stones admitted to Gugrao County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects.They were sequentially in-cluded in the control group(n=40,who underwent percutaneous nephrolithotripsy)and the observation group(n=40,who under-went holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy)based on their surgical methods.Evaluate the sleep quality levels,Insomnia situation,Postoperative recovery status of two groups.Results:Compared with the control group,patients in the observation group had lower sleep quality index and Asens Insomnia Scale score(P＜0.05).At the same time,patients in the observation group re-covered their bowel sounds,anal exhaust,first meal,and first bowel movement earlier after surgery(P＜0.05),but had a longer hospital stay(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy,with its advantages of mild trauma and minimal im-pact on patient sleep quality,effectively shortens patient recovery time while assisting patients in achieving ideal treatment expec-tations,and has high practical value.
