Objective:To explore the effect of evidence-based family supervision on infant sleep habits on improving maternal and infant sleep quality.Methods:The women and infants who were hospitalized for delivery and operation in the Obstetrics Depart-ment of Deyang City People's Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were num-bered according to the order of hospitalization,with odd numbers as the observation group and even numbers as the control group,132 cases in each group.The control group implemented routine nursing,the observation group implemented evidence-based family supervision mode.The sleep conditions of the two groups were compared.Results:No hypnotic drugs were used in the two groups.The total score of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The night wake time,night sleep total,night wake times,day sleep total and sleep total in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rates of children sleeping alone,not feeding night milk,crying and crying at night were higher in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:This study establishes a scientif-ic nursing program for family supervision of infants'sleep habits through evidence-based methods,so as to improve infants'sleep habits,improve maternal sleep quality,reduce their postpartum psychological problems,and protect their postpartum mental health.
