Objective:To evaluate the effect of targeted sleep care in improving patients with essential hypertension complicated with sleep disorders.Methods:A total of 80 patients with essential hypertension combined with sleep disorder in the Department of Cardiology of Qian'an People's Hospital of Hebei Province from September 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects,and were divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,and the treatment group received targeted sleep care on the basis of routine care.Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores were used to evaluate the anxiety degree and the improvement of sleep quality of the patients before and after care.Results:After nursing,HAMA scores and PSQI scores in the treatment group were lower than before,and the treatment group were lower than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Targeted sleep care can effectively improve the sleep status of patients with essential hypertension,im-prove their sleep quality and reduce anxiety,which has important clinical application value.
