Objective:To investigate the effect of perioperative nursing care on patients undergoing tongue cancer resection and free lateral femoral skin flap for tongue reconstruction,and to evaluate the impact on their sleep quality and dietary disorders.Methods:A total of 78 patients who underwent tongue cancer resection and free lateral femoral skin flap for tongue recon-struction surgery at the Stomatology Department of Quanzhou First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group using a random number table meth-od,with 39 cases in each group.Compare the oral health status,sleep quality,and recovery rate of dietary disorders between two groups after intervention.Results:The oral health status score,various sleep quality measurements,and recovery rate of dietary disor-ders in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Strengthening perioperative nursing intervention for patients undergoing tongue cancer resection and free lateral thigh flap tongue reconstruction surgery is beneficial for improving dietary disorders and oral health status,and improving patient sleep quality.It is worth learning and promoting.
