Objective:To investigate the effects of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome(OSAS)combined with emphysema on the monitoring indexes of sleep respiration and pulmonary function. Methods:The clinical data of 31 patients with OSAS combined with emphysema treated in a hospital from April 2022 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were used as the observation group, and 41 patients with OSAS alone were included as the control group during the same period.Polysomnographic respiratory monitor was used to monitor the sleep breathing of patients in the 2 groups, and the monitoring indexes of sleep breath-ing,lung function indexes of patients in the 2 groups, blood oxygen related indexes in the sleep state of patients in the 2 groups, and sleep quality of patients in the 2 groups were compared. Results:Sleep monitoring index in the observation group were signifi-cantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),the differences were statistically significant;FEV1%,FEV1/FVC and TV of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the differences were statistically significant. The minimum oxygen saturation and average oxygen saturation of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The number of oxy-gen saturation below 80%and the time of oxygen saturation below 80%in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combined emphysema has adverse effects on sleep respiratory monitoring index, pulmonary function index and blood oxygen content in OSAS pa-tients.Clinical treatment can be made in time for patients with combined disease.
