Analyzing the Effect of Personalized Functional Exercise Combined with Proprioceptive Training on Improving Sleep Quality in Postoperative Patients with Ankle Fractures
Objective:To analyze the impact of personalized functional exercise combined with proprioceptive training on rehabili-tation and sleep in the nursing and rehabilitation of patients after ankle fracture surgery. Methods:A total of 80 patients with an-kle fractures admitted to the Orthopedics Department of Longyan Second Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine rehabilitation exercise, while the observation group received personalized functional exercise combined with proprioceptive training intervention. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients, and the sleep breathing monitoring indicators of the two groups of patients before and after intervention were compared using the Ruismai portable sleep breathing monitor. Results:After intervention, the PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The number of nursing disturbances and oxygen desaturation indexin the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The lowest and average blood oxygen saturation in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The appli-cation of personalized functional exercise combined with proprioceptive training in the nursing and rehabilitation of ankle fractures can significantly improve the sleep quality of patients, promote stable sleep, and lay a good physical foundation for rehabilitation, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
