Objective:To comprehensively analyze the impact of PDCA cycle management combined with health education inter-vention on compliance and sleep quality in elderly stroke patients. Methods:A study was conducted on 90 elderly stroke patients admitted from Hui'an County Hospital between July 2022 and July 2023.They were randomly divided into a control group(45 ca-ses)and an observation group(45 cases)using a random number table method. Both groups received routine treatment and health education, while the observation group received PDCA cycle management.Compare the compliance of two groups and compare the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Asens Insomnia Scale(AIS),and polysomnography(PSG)indicators before and after in-tervention.Results:The total compliance of the observation group(97.78%)was higher than the control group(84.44%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After intervention, compared to control group, the PSQI and AIS scores in the observation group were lower, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of PSG indicators, the total sleep time(TST)and sleep efficiency(SE)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the latency of rapid eye movement(REM)was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The intervention of PDCA cycle management combined with health education in elderly stroke patients can improve compliance levels and promote improvement in sleep quality, which is worthy of promotion and application.
