Objective:To analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of self-efficacy theory nursing intervention for postpartum women after delivery. Methods:A total of 76 postpartum women admitted to Fuding Hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 38 cases in each group according to the random number table method. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received self-efficacy theory nursing intervention.Using the Breastfeeding Training Textbook as a reference, evaluate the cognitive level of postpartum women regarding breastfeeding related knowledge.Use the Self Efficacy Scale(GSES)to analyze the self-efficacy of postpartum women before and after delivery, and use the Richards Campbell Sleep Quality Assessment Scale(RCSQ)to analyze the improvement of sleep quality before and after nursing care for postpartum women. Results:Before inter-vention,there was no statistically significant difference in the GSES score of self-efficacy and the RCSQ score of sleep quality(P>0.05);After intervention, the cognitive score of breastfeeding in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the GSES score of self-efficacy in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the sleep quality score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:It is highly feasible to provide self-efficacy theory nursing interventions for postpartum women after delivery, which is conducive to improving their cognitive level of breastfeeding related knowledge, thereby enhancing their self-efficacy and coping ability, improving their sleep disorders after delivery, and has high reference and promo-tion value.
