Objective:To analyze the impact of family care intervention on perioperative complications, psychological status, and sleep quality in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods:Prostate hyperplasia patients admitted to the Second Affilia-ted Hospital of Fujian Medical University from July 2019 to September 2022 were selected as the research subjects.Using a ran-dom number table method, they were randomly divided into a control group(n=50)and an observation group(n=51).The con-trol group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received family care service intervention. The Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)were used to compare the improvement of anxiety and de-pression in two groups of patients before and after intervention. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality before and after intervention, and the changes in postoperative rehabilitation observation indicators were compared between the two groups of patients. The incidence of complications in the two groups of patients was also compared. Results:After the intervention, the observation group had shorter exhaust, bladder flushing, bladder spasm, and indwell-ing catheter time than the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the two groups'SDS score,SAS score, and PSQI score decreased, and the observation group was significantly low-er than the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implemen-ting family care service intervention for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia during the perioperative period can shorten their recovery time, improve their psychological condition, improve sleep quality, and reduce complications. It has significant clinical ap-plication value and is worth promoting in clinical practice.
