Objective:To analyze the improvement effect of SLEEP-MAD nursing model on sleep disorders in ICU patients with severe pneumonia.Methods:A total of 86 experimental subjects were included in the study,all of whom were ICU patients with severe pneumonia and sleep disorders who were treated at Xiamen University Affiliated First Hospital Fujian from November 2021 to November 2023.They were randomly divided into a control group(conventional nursing,n=43)and an observation group(SLEEP-MAD nursing model,n=43)using a random number table method.Compare the sleep quality,psychological resilience,and self-burden between the two groups.Results:In terms of sleep quality scores in all dimensions,the observation group was low-er than the control group(P＜0.05).The observation group had a higher psychological resilience score and a lower self burden score compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The SLEEP-MAD nursing model is beneficial for improving the sleep quality of ICU patients with severe pneumonia and sleep disorders,reducing self-burden,and can be further promoted and applied in clinical practice.
