Objective:To evaluate the effect of non-invasive ventilation in the treatment of asthma-obstructive sleep apnea hypop-nea syndrome(OSAHS)overlap. Methods:A total of 72 patients with asthma-OSAHS overlap were enrolled, randomly divided in-to study group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group received drug treatment, the study group received drug treatment+CPAP.The effect was evaluated at 12 th week.Respiratory and sleep parameters of polysomnography(PSG),ACT score and pulmonary function were compared. Results:After treatment, the apnea hypopnea index(AHI)of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the lowest blood oxygen saturation(LSpO2)and average blood oxygen satura-tion(ASpO2)were higher(P<0.05).After treatment, the sleep latency(SL)of the study group was shorter than that of the con-trol group, and the sleep efficiency(SE)and N3%were higher than those of the control group, while N1%was lower. After treat-ment,the ACT score, peak expiratory flow(PEF),and FEV1/FVC%of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Non invasive ventilation can improve the treatment effect of asthma combined with OSAHS to a certain extent.
