Objective:To explore the effect of lorazepam supplementation therapy on patients with schizophrenia and sleep disor-ders.Methods:A total of 80 cases of schizophrenia with sleep disorders from Fuzhou Neuropsychiatric Hospital affiliated to Fujian Medical University from December 2021 to January 2023 were selected as objects,were divided into observation group and control group according to whether they took lorazepam,40 cases in each group,control group receive conventional treatment;on this ba-sis,observation group receive lorazepam treatment,compare the two groups of clinical efficacy,sleep status,and mental symptoms,and adverse reactions.Results:After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05),the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score,positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS)score was significantly lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Lorazepam in patients with schizophrenia and sleep disorders can effectively improve sleep quality and mental condition without increasing clinical safety risk.
