Study on the Improvement of Wound Healing and Sleep Quality of Hemorrhoid Patients with Mixed Hemorrhoid External Stripping and Internal Ligation Combined with Hemorrhoid Ointment
Objective:To explore the effect of mixed hemorrhoid external stripping and internal ligation combined with hemor-rhoid ointment on wound healing and sleep quality of patients with hemorrhoids.Methods:A total of 86 patients with hemorrhoids admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from April 2022 to October 2023 were selected as research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mixed hemorrhoid external stripping and internal ligation,and the observation group was treated with mixed hemorrhoid external stripping and internal ligation combined with hemorrhoid ointment.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes of sleep quality before and after the intervention,and the wound healing status of the two groups was compared,including the wound healing time and edema relief time of the two groups,and the night sleep duration and wake times of the two groups were compared.Results:After intervention,the wound healing time and edema remission time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the intervention,at 3,5 and 7 days after treatment,the granulation growth score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the duration of sleep in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the number of waking times was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclu-sion:In the treatment of hemorrhoids,combined with hemorrhoid ointment can accelerate the wound healing speed,improve the sleep quality of patients,promote the growth of granulation tissue,and contribute to the recovery of patients.
