Effects of Auricular Point Pressure Combined with Acupoint Application Theropy on Gastrointestinal Function,Cancer-related Fatigue and Sleep Quality in Female Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy
Objective:To observe the effects of auricular point presuring combined with acupoint application theropy on gastroin-testinal function and cancer-related fatigue in female breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and the effect of sleep quali-ty.Methods:A total of 86 female breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy in the Clinical Oncology School of Fujian Medical University/Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Fujian Medical University,Fujian Cancer Hospital from February 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the ob-servation group was combined with ear point pressure and acupoint application.The gastrointestinal function,cancer-related fatigue and sleep quality of the two groups were compared.Results:After nursing,the indexes of gastrointestinal function in the observa-tion group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05),the level of cancer-related fatigue was lower than that in the con-trol group(P＜0.05),and the scores of sleep quality were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Acu-point application therapy combined with auricular point pressure can improve the gastrointestinal function,reduce the level of cancer-related fatigue and improve the sleep quality of female breast cancer patients with chemotherapy,which has a high refer-ence value.
