The Effect of Acupuncture Method of"Tong Du Diao Ren"Combined with"Kai Tian Men"Technique on Neurological Function and Sleep Quality in Stroke Patients
Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect of"Tongdu Tiaoren"acupuncture combined with"Kaitianmen"tech-nique on the neurological function and sleep quality of stroke patients.Methods:A total of 60 stroke patients admitted to Changle District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Fuzhou City,Fujian Province,from January to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects.Using a random number table method,they were randomly divided into control and observation groups,with 30 cases in each group.The control group patients were treated with the"Tongdu Tiaoren"acupuncture method,while the obser-vation group patients were treated with the"Kaitianmen"technique in combination with the control group.The Barthel Index was used to evaluate the living ability of two groups of patients,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between the two groups before and after intervention,the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)was used,and seven questions related to anxiety(HADS-A)and seven questions related to depression(HADS-D)were investigated to compare the changes in anxiety emotions between the two groups of patients.Results:After treatment,both groups of patients improved Barthel scores,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group.The difference be-tween the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the observation group had longer total sleep dura-tion,lower PSQI total score,HADS-A and HADS-D scores,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(both P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of the"Tongdu Tiaoren"acupuncture method and the"Kaitianmen"technique for stroke patients can effectively improve their daily liv-ing ability,improve their neurological function,and improve sleep quality,which is worthy of vigorous promotion and application.
