Objective:To analyze the application value of comprehensive comfort nursing in the operating room for elderly patients undergoing artificial hip replacement.Methods:A total of 74 elderly patients with artificial hip replacement admitted to Ningde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Fujian University of Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 37 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received comprehensive comfort nursing in the operating room.The nursing effects of the two groups were compared,and the sleep quality(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,PSQI),complication rate and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated.Results:PSQI scores after nursing in 2 groups were lower than before nursing in this group,and PSQI scores after nursing in observation group were lower than those of control group(P＜0.05).The complication rate was 8.11％(3/37)in the observation group and 27.03％(10/37)in the control group,which was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing service satisfaction scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive comfort nursing in the operating room can improve the comfort of the elderly patients during the operation,improve the quality of sleep and reduce the incidence of complica-tions.
