Objective:To explore the effect of continuous nursing based on timing theory on recovery and sleep quality after ce-sarean section. Methods:A total of 150 women who underwent cesarean section in Women and Children's Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as research objects and divided into control group and ob-servation group according to random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nurs-ing intervention, and the observation group was given continuous nursing intervention based on timing theory.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the difference of sleep quality of puerperae between the two groups, and the time of getting out of bed, anal exhaust time, lactation initiation time and lochia duration were compared between the two groups, and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups puerperae was compared. Results:After the intervention, the postoperative ambulation time, anal exhaust time, lactation initiation time and lochia duration of puerperae in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the puerperae control group, the PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05).Results:Continuous nursing based on timing theory can accelerate the recovery speed of cesarean section pa-tients,improve the quality of sleep and enhance their satisfaction with nursing work.
