Objective:To explore the effect of functional exercise pathway nursing in carrying out appreciation education in the care of fracture patients on improving their sleep quality. Methods:From July 2022 to October 2023,76 patients with fractures in our hospital were randomly selected.According to the random number table method, patients were randomly sorted from 0 to 76,with odd numbered sequences receiving routine nursing support(38 cases, control group)and even numbered sequences receiving functional exercise paths for appreciation education(38 cases, observation group).Conduct statistics on the sleep quality and func-tional recovery of patients. Results:After intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Comparing the nighttime sleep time and awakening frequency between the two groups, the observation group had longer intervention sleep time and lower awakening frequency than the control group(P<0.05).Comparing the functional recovery of patients, the observation group had a higher rate of excellent functional recovery than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing appreciation education as a functional exercise pathway in the care of fracture patients can improve their sleep quality during treatment, promote functional recovery.
