Objective:To observe the effect of personalized comfort nursing in the operating room on the improvement of postoper-ative pain and sleep in patients undergoing thyroid surgery.Methods:A total of 86 patients with thyroid disease were selected from September 2022 to September 2023 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University,and randomly divided into two groups according to the admission number,with an average of 43 cases.The control group received routine perioperative nursing,and the observation group received personalized comfort nursing in the operating room.The sleep quality,pain degree and comfort level of the two groups were evaluated before and after intervention.Results:After the intervention,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality index(PSQI)score of the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,Kolcaba Comfort Scale(GCQ)score of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the visual analogue score(VAS)of the observation group was more significantly decreased than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Individualized comfort nursing in operating room is helpful to improve sleep quality,reduce body pain and enhance comfort.
