Objective:To observe the value of reduced restraint nursing in patients with tracheal intubation in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods:A total of 92 patients with endotracheal intubation were selected from the ICU of our hospital(sample period from September 2022 to September 2023)and divided into 2 groups According to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group carried out routine nursing, the observation group carried out reduced restraint nursing mode.Risk events, discomfort, and sleep quality were evaluated. Results:Compared with the control group, the total incidence of risk events in the observation group decreased significantly, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Compared with the Chinese version of ICU Patient Discomfort Assessment Scale(IPREA),the observation group showed a more obvious downward trend after intervention than the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Compared with the Chinese version of Richards-Campbell Sleep Scale(RCSQ),the increase trend of the ob-servation group after intervention was more obvious than that of the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with tracheal intubation in ICU can significantly control risk events, reduce discom-fort and improve sleep quality after receiving reduced restraint nursing mode.
