Effects of Nursing Measures Guided By Integrated Health Behavior Theory on Sleep Quality and Degree of Cancer-related Fatigue in Patients with Colorectal Cancer Undergoing Chemotherapy
Objective:To explore the effects of Integrated Health Behavior Theory(ITHBC)guided nursing intervention on sleep quality and cancer-related fatigue in patients with colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods:A total of 68 patients with colorectal cancer treated with chemotherapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from March 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given ITHBC guided nursing intervention.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the difference of sleep quality be-tween the two groups before and after the intervention,QLQ-C70 was used to compare the change of life quality between the two groups before and after the intervention, and PFRS was used to compare the degree of cancer fatigue between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:After intervention,PSQI score and PFRS score in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and QLQ-C70 score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:ITHBC-guided nursing measures can effective-ly improve patients'sleep quality, improve patients'life quality, and reduce patients'cancer-related fatigue degree during the nursing of patients with colorectal cancer chemotherapy, which is worthy of clinical application.
