Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of aspirin combined with clopidogrel on elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:Taking 60 elderly patients with coronary heart disease treated at Fuqing Haikou Town Central Health Center from January 2023 to June 2023 as the research object.Patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observa-tion group,with 30 patients in each group.The control group took clopidogrel,while the observation group added aspirin drug ther-apy on the basis of the former.The overall clinical efficacy,sleep quality and cardiac function indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the treatment effect of the control group was lower than that of the observation group(P＜0.05).The sleep quality,sleep duration,sleep efficiency,sleep quality,sleep disorders,use of sleep medication,and daytime dys-function scores of the observation group patients were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Additionally,the left ven-tricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)were relatively low(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of aspirin and clopidogrel for elderly patients with coronary heart disease improves the treatment efficacy,enhances sleep quality,and improves heart function.It is worth vigorously promoting and adopting in clinical practice.
