Objective:To explore the effect of beraprost sodium combined with Niaoduqing Granules on sleep quality and residual renal function(RRF)in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods:A total of 102 maintenance hemodialysis patients, admitted to the hospital from March 2022 to March 2023,were randomly divided into control group(51 patients)and observation group(51 patients). The control group was treated with beraprost sodium, while the observation group received additional Niaoduqing Gran-ules alongside beraprost sodium.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores, blood uric acid(UA),residual renal function(RRF),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and adverse effects were compared before and after treatment,Results:After treatment, both groups showed significant reductions in PSQI scores compared to pre-treatment levels(P<0.05),with the observation group showing significantly lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).Blood UA and BUN levels in both groups decreased after treatment, while RRF increased(P<0.05).Additionally,the observation group had lower UA and BUN levels and higher RRF than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was significantly higher in the observation group(94.12%,48/51)compared to the control group(80.39%,41/51)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reac-tions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of beraprost sodium with Niaoduqing granules can improve sleep quality and protect RRF in maintenance hemodialysis patients, with a high safety and efficacy profile.
