Objective:To analyze adolescents'sleep habits and their mental health,and explore the correlation between them,so as to provide insights to support the healthy development of adolescents'physical and mental well-being.Methods:A total of 756 middle school students from Fuqing were selected as participants,and their sleep and mental health were evaluated by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Chinese Middle School Students Mental Health Scale(MSSMHS),and the correlation between sleep problems and mental health problems was analyzed.Results:In this survey,the proportion of insufficient sleep was 64.81%(490/756),and the total detection rate of 10 common psychological problems was 29.63%(224/756).The total score of MSSMHS and the scores of all dimensions were positively correlated with the total score of PSQI(P<0.05).Conclusion:The majority of adolescents have insufficient sleep,and their mental health has a direct impact on their sleep quality.It is necessary to pay more attention to their mental health and improve their sleep,so as to promote their physical and mental health.
