Study on Factors Affecting Sleep Quality in Patients Undergoing Ultrasound-guided Minimally Invasive Breast Tumor Excision and Corresponding Nursing Strategies
Objective:To investigate the factors affecting sleep quality in patients undergoing ultrasound-guided minimally inva-sive breast tumor resection and provide an in-depth analysis to propose appropriate nursing strategies. Methods:A questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from 206 patients who underwent ultrasound-guided minimally inva-sive breast tumor resection as day surgery at our hospital between July 2023 and May 2024.Data were analyzed to explore the rela-tionships between various factors and patients'sleep quality. Results:Data analysis revealed that factors such as surgical stress re-sponse,preoperative anxiety, lack of knowledge, postoperative pain, age, patient perception of specialized breast bras, preoperative breast nodule classification, pathology results, and postoperative complications were not only significantly correlated with sleep quality but also followed specific patterns. Conclusion:Based on the factors influencing sleep quality, this study proposes nursing strategies that include preoperative and postoperative education, psychological support, guidance on proper use of specialized breast bras, pain management, and readily available assistance.
