Impact of Roy's Adaptation Model Combined with Operating Room Nursing on Sleep Quality and Rehabilitation of Patients Undergoing Total Knee Arthroplasty
Objective:To investigate the effects of Roy's adaptation model combined with operating room nursing on joint function and sleep quality in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods:A total of 98 TKA patients from Quanzhou First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University, treated between March 2022 and October 2023,were selected for the study. The patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 49 patients in each group. The control group re-ceived routine nursing care during treatment, while the observation group received nursing care based on the Roy's adaptation model combined with operating room nursing. The improvement in joint function, sleep quality, and activity level was compared be-tween the two groups during the treatment period. Results:After nursing intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores for the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the joint function and Activities of Daily Living(ADL)scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing the Roy's adaptation model combined with operating room care in the care of TKA patients can improve sleep quality, promote the re-covery of joint function, and enhance their activity levels during the treatment period.
