Objective:To explore the application of anticipatory interventions in the care of patients undergoing electronic bron-choscopy and its impact on sleep. Methods:A total of 84 patients who underwent bronchoscopy at Xianyou County General Hospi-tal from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received anticipa-tory interventions in addition to routine care. The two groups were compared in terms of Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),sleep quality rate,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and incidence of complica-tions.Results:Postoperative HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The sleep quality of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The rate of good sleep quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the obser-vation group(2.38%)was lower than in the control group(14.28%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Anticipatory interventions in the care of patients undergoing electronic bronchoscopy can effectively improve their emotional state and sleep quality,as well as re-duce the incidence of complications.
