Objective:To observe the effect of Xinmailong injection as an adjunctive treatment on improving ventilation function and sleep quality in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)and obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Meth-ods:A total of 68 patients with CHF and OSAHS,admitted to Hui'an County Hospital from November 2020 to November 2023,were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 34 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group was treated with Xinmailong injection in addition to routine care. The ventilation function, subjective sleep quality, cardiac function, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after 2 weeks of treatment. Results:After treatment, both groups showed a reduction in apnea-hypopnea index(AHI),longest hypopnea time,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores, and NT-proBNP levels compared to pre-treatment values, with the observation group showing more significant improvements(P<0.05).Additionally,the lowest oxygen saturation(L-SpO2)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)increased in both groups, with greater improvements seen in the observation group(P<0.05).During the treatment,2 patients in the observation group and 1 patient in the control group reported mild nausea, and 3 patients in the ob-servation group and 2 in the control group experienced dizziness;these symptoms were mild and resolved on their own. There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Xinmailong injec-tion as an adjunctive treatment can significantly improve ventilation function, sleep quality, and cardiac function in patients with CHF and OSAHS,with good safety.
