The thermal conductivity of carbon dioxide hydrate-bearing sediments is a fundamental thermal property parameter for carbon capture and storage and hydrate replacement mining.The carbon dioxide hydrate and the carbon dioxide hydrate-bearing natural sea sand were prepared by ice powder-temperature oscillation method or pure water-temperature oscillation method.In temperature oscillations,it is found that samples prepared with pure water always have ice formation,while samples prepared with powdered ice have no ice and hydrate secondary formation.Compared with pure water-temperature oscillation method,the ice powder-temperature oscillation method has higher efficiency and shorter time for hydrate formation.Measurements from the HotDisk thermal conductivity meter show that the thermal conductivity of the hydrate increases with temperature.The thermal conductivity of carbon dioxide hydrate-bearing natural sea sand at 253.85~278.75 K is 0.7118~0.9128 W/(m K),which is higher than that of pure carbon dioxide hydrate.The experimental results can provide basic physical properties data for the geological storage of carbon dioxide hydrate.
