Many scholars believe that the Zhangjiajie Huayuan fault zone,Lianghe fault zone,and Malichang fault zone have played an important controlling role in the mineralization of the Huayuan lead-zinc ore field.The Pailou lead-zinc mining area is located at the southeast edge of the Yangtze Platform,in the middle section of the"Xiangxi Hubei West Polymetallic Metallogenic Belt",in the central part of the Fenghuang Huayuan Longshan area integrated exploration area.It belongs to the edge and deep section of the Huayuan Brain Slope large-scale lead-zinc deposit extending eastward,and is an important reserve base for lead-zinc mineral resources in Hunan Province.This article analyzes and studies the ore-forming conditions of the lead-zinc deposit area in Pailou mining area,identifies the potential of lead-zinc mineral resources in the area,and promotes the development and utilization of lead-zinc mineral resources in the area.
