Application of 1∶50000 gravity and magnetic survey in Luofu anticline,Nandan County,Guangxi
The Luofu anticline is located on the periphery of the Dachang ore field in the Danchi ore belt, with similar ore-forming geological conditions and relatively prominent gravity and magnetic anomalies. It is a potential ore-forming and prospecting prospect, but no breakthrough has been made in mineral exploration so far.By conducting a 1∶50000 gravity work on the Luofu anticline, the morphological characteristics of the bottom interface of the Devonian system in the Luofu anticline were delineated.Through analysis,it was found that the uplift axis of the basement of the Luofu anticline is inconsistent with the axis of the Devonian cap anticline(a northwest trending gravity high anomaly zone),resulting in the westward displacement of the Devonian cap anticline axis. The formation of cap folds is often accompanied by corresponding developed fault zones The interlayer fractures and the extensional fractures in the axis of the anticline provide a prerequisite for the intrusion of magma and the transmission of hydrothermal fluids, providing a space for mineralization. The northwest trending gravity anomaly zone(inferred as the Devonian caprock anticline)is considered an important ore controlling structure.
