The Dawang lead-zinc deposit in Pingnan County,Guangxi is located in the western section of the Qinhang mineralization belt,in the southern part of the Dayaoshan uplift of the Nanhua active zone.It is situated in a sedimentary basin sandwiched between the regional Lingshan Tengxian fault and the Pingxiang Dali fault.The geological structure of the area is complex,and the mineralization conditions are superior.Through summarizing and studying the geological characteristics,mineralization characteristics,prospecting indicators,and genesis of the deposit in the area,It is believed that the Dawang mining area belongs to a lead-zinc deposit mainly composed of submarine jet sedimentation and later hydrothermal transformation,which can provide reference for finding similar deposits in the region.
