Exploration of Methods for Applying Information Systems to Mine Geological Exploration
Geographic Information System(GIS)is an advanced computer software system that integrates geospatial data to provide visual, tangible, and intuitive representations. It helps analyze natural and human resources in different regions of the earth, providing data for various engineering projects.Prior to mineral resource exploitation,it is necessary to conduct geological exploration and survey work to assess site risks and develop feasible and reliable mining plans. However, due to complex site environments and multiple influencing factors,it is challenging to ensure the effectiveness of the plans. Therefore, the application of information systems to gather comprehensive on-site information has been crucial. This meets the needs of engineering projects, improves exploration efficiency and quality, reduces the impact of human factors, and ensures the safety and stability of the entire exploration process. This article aims to explore the methods of using information systems in geological exploration in order to provide a modern tool for geological surveys and improve efficiency and accuracy.
