Characteristics of interlayer oxidation zones of sandstone type uranium deposits in the Heishui area of the Pingzhuang Basin and their relationship with uranium mineralization
In recent years, multiple industrial and low-grade uranium mineralization pores have been discovered in the geological survey of sandstone type uranium deposits in the Heishui area of the northern Pingzhuang Basin, indicating that the area has good uranium mineralization prospects. The uranium deposit in this area is located in the upper part of the Sunjiawan Formation, and uranium mineralization is closely related to the development characteristics of interlayer oxidation zones. The article analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics of oxidation zones, rock geochemical types, and the relationship between oxidation zones and uranium mineralization in the area through core observation, geological profiles, and geochemical parameter analysis.Research suggests that the sandstone type uranium deposits in this area are significantly controlled by interlayer oxidation zones, and the zoning characteristics of the oxidation zones are obvious. On the plane, uranium ore bodies are distributed in the oxidation-reduction transition zone, and vertically, they are distributed at the contact area between the oxidation zone and the reduction zone; The formation of uranium ore bodies is closely related to the geochemical environment of rocks.
