Application of induced polarization ladder measurement in the exploration of copper nickel and gold deposits in a certain area of Qinghai Province
Based on the comprehensive analysis of previous data,a 1:5000 IP profile was used to determine favorable areas for copper and nickel mineralization by conducting IP ladder measurements in the Niubiliang area of Mangya City,Qinghai Province, and drilling verification was conducted.Further understand the electrical characteristics and distribution of various rocks(minerals)in the mining area, and understand the planar distribution and distribution of induced polarization anomalies in the survey area. After organizing and analyzing the results and data, combined with the analysis and research of induced polarization anomalies, two induced polarization anomaly zones,JD Ⅰ and JD Ⅱ,have been delineated in the work area. The JD Ⅰ anomaly zone has a larger scale, with an east-west length of about 600m and a north-south length of about 600m.The JD Ⅱ anomaly has a relatively small scale, with a length of approximately 400m and a width of approximately 100m.The distribution characteristics of induced polarization anomalies in the work area have been roughly identified as follows:the polarization rate in the north is relatively low, while the polarization rate in the south is relatively high. The induced polarization anomalies in the southwest of the work area are better than those in the east of the work area.
