Abstract
This article delves into the geological and environmental issues of open-pit mining of metal mines,including surface water pollution,soil erosion,and loss of biodiversity.The potential threats of these issues to ecosystems and society were emphasized,and the importance of environmental impact assessment,sustainable mine design,real-time adjustment and improvement was discussed.Explored the application of monitoring systems and data analysis in governance,as well as their key role in improving the sustainability of mining activities.
