Study on the Effect of Partial Replacement of Lithium Fluoride with Praseodymium Neodymium Metal Barium Fluoride Prepared by Molten Salt Electrolysis on Electrolytic Production
With the increasing of the price of lithium fluoride, the experiment of substituting or partly substituting lithium fluoride has been put forward again, aiming at the phenomenon of high unit consumption of praseodymium neodymium metal lithium fluoride produced by molten salt electrolysis,it has become one of the most urgent tasks to seek the replacement of lithium fluoride or part of it,so the effect of barium fluoride partly replacing lithium fluoride on the production of electrolysis is studied. The results show that the partial replacement of lithium fluoride by barium fluoride can reduce the consumption of lithium fluoride in electrolytic production to a certain extent, the replacement ratio of barium fluoride is more than 15%,which will affect the normal electrolysis of metal and cause the fluctuation of output and quality.
