Geological characteristics and controlling factors of mineralization and prospecting indicators of Beichuangou copper deposit in Zhashui County,Shaanxi Province
The Beichuangou copper deposit is located in the central part of the Zhashui Shanyang Devonian hydrothermal sedimentary basin,north of the regional Fengzhen Shanyang deep fault,and in the middle section of the Zhashui Shanyang siderite polymetallic mineralization belt.This mineralization belt occurs in the middle and upper sections of the Daxigou Formation of the Middle Devonian.The strong orogenic movement during the Indosinian Yanshan period formed a series of nearly east-west trending fault structures,which activated the ore-forming minerals in the source layer and migrated to favorable structural areas to enrich and form hydrothermal sedimentary reformed deposits.This article analyzes the geological characteristics and physicochemical exploration data of the Beichuangou copper mine,summarizes its controlling factors and prospecting indicators,and hopes to provide reference for future prospecting work in this area.
