Genetic analysis and prospecting direction of the Houtuoyang gold deposit in Tianshui,Gansu Province
The Houtuoyang gold deposit is located in the eastern section of the Western Qinling Mountains,with mineralization types of hydrothermal vein and tectonic altered rock.According to comprehensive research,the overall ore deposit is controlled by the Lower Paleozoic Danfeng Group strata,northeast trending fault structures,diorite porphyry,and other factors.The mineralization period is in the middle to late Indosinian period,and the genetic type is related to magmatic activity of the gold deposit(IRGD type).On this basis,the prospecting directions for diorite porphyry,northeast trending faults,intersection of fault structures,and deep rock masses were summarized.
