Analysis of Metallogenic Geological Characteristics of Mazongshan Gold Mine in Gansu Province
The Mazongshan gold deposit in Gansu Province is located within the northwest gold deposit belt, and its ore-forming geological characteristics have obvious regional and unique characteristics.Through systematic analysis and research on key geological information such as stratigraphic lithology, regional structure, geological characteristics of ore bodies, hydrothermal activity of mineralization, and sources of mineralization materials in the mining area, the geological background and mechanism of mineralization in the Mazongshan gold deposit have been revealed.Research has shown that the gold mineralization in the mining area is mainly controlled by the regional deep fault system, and the ore bodies are distributed in a vein like manner, closely related to hydrothermal activity. The ore-forming materials mainly come from deep magmatic hydrothermal fluids, and their mineralization process is closely related to regional tectonic activities and ancient magmatic events. The exploration of mineralization models and processes provides important theoretical guidance for the exploration of this type of gold deposit.
