Geological characteristics and prospecting prospects of Hongshiya gold deposit in Ruoqiang County,Xinjiang
The Hongshiya Gold Mine in Ruoqiang County,Xinjiang is located in the middle section of the Altun Mountains,at the junction of the Tarim and Qaidam blocks. It belongs to the high mountain hilly basin landform area of the northern Tibetan Plateau, with an overall terrain of high in the north and low in the south, high in the west and low in the east, with an altitude of 4200m~4582m and a maximum of 4582m,with a relative height difference of over 200~300 meters.By conducting a detailed investigation of the mining area, further analyzing the geological background, physical and chemical exploration characteristics, alteration zones, and ore body characteristics of the mining area,it is preliminarily believed that the deposit belongs to a medium low temperature hydrothermal gold deposit.Based on this, the exploration prospects of the deposit are discussed,in order to provide some reference and guidance for the exploration of similar types of gold deposits in the region.
