Geological characteristics and genetic analysis of Dayuandong gold deposit in Hunan Province
The Dayuandong gold deposit is located in Uplift Area of eastern Hunan in the middle part of Jiangnan Axis of Yangtze Parateneum, which is an important Huangjindong-Wangu gold mining area in Hunan Province.Gold veins exist in the Pingyuan formation of the Neoproterozoic Lengjiaxi Group and are controlled by the NW-trending structure. The ore types are mainly altered broken plate lithology, and the alteration closely related to gold mineralization mainly includes silicification, arsenitosis and pyritization.Based on the analysis and study of ore-bearing strata,ore-bearing structure, vein characteristics, ore characteristics and deep mineralization and enrichment rule,it is considered that the Pingyuan Formation of Lengjiaxi Group in Neoproterozoic is the main source layer and ore-bearing horizon of gold deposit, the deep fault in the area is the rock and ore guiding structure, the secondary near east-west fault structure is ore bearing structure, and the deep ore body has a tendency to become richer and thicker. The Dayuandong gold deposit has experienced three stages of sedimentary diagenesis, regional metamorphism and tectonic hydrothermal process.Tectonic mineralization is the main mineralization process, and the genetic type of the deposit is medium(low)temperature hydrothermal type.Five kinds of prospecting indicators are summarized, including stratigraphic markers, tectonic markers, magmatic markers, alteration markers and geochemical markers, which provide geological basis for regional gold exploration.
