The role of soil geochemical zoning in the lower part of the third Member of the Mayuan Group outside the Taiyangshan gold deposit,Northern Fujian
The taiyangshan gold deposit in jianyang city of fujian province is a representative gold deposit in northern fujian. The main exposed strata of the mine belong to the lower part of the third member of the neoproterozoic mayyuan group, and the second lithologic belt of the third member of the mayuan group is the source bed and ore-bearing bed of gold.by analyzing the data of the taiyangshan gold mine and its surrounding mines and the 1:10000 soil geochemical survey data of soil samples outside the mining area,it is found that the average Au content of the geological units in the lower part of the third member of the mayuan group has the regularity of"low-high-low"abnormal distribution in the stratigraphic sequence.Based on the limited outlying bedrock rock assemblage type, combined with the distribution anomaly of Au in soil, the distribution characteristics of graphite minerals, the geomorphic characteristics and a small amount of geological engineering verification, the soil geochemical zoning was carried out to help divide the boundary between the second lithologic belt of the third member of the mayuan group and the overlying and underlying geological units.
