Prediction of blind ore bodies in the Manjiazhai mining area of Tongjie and its research significance
The Tongjie Manjiazhai deposit is a skarn type zinc tin polymetallic deposit(hereinafter referred to as the"Tongman deposit").The ore body is controlled by a combination of stratigraphy,lithology,structure,and metamorphism,and the genesis of the deposit is complex,with small and medium-sized ore bodies being the majority.Due to limitations in exploration engineering,some hidden ore bodies have not been exposed and controlled,which are referred to as blind ore bodies in this article.However,in the actual mining process,a certain amount of blind ore can be extracted,which can play a positive role in the comprehensive recovery and utilization of minerals and the improvement of production efficiency.In the past,mines have conducted some research on blind ore body prediction,but mainly focused on summarizing and analyzing the ore-forming laws of blind ore bodies,predicting the occurrence areas of blind ore bodies,and estimating the potential amount of blind ore body resources that may be extracted in the future based on the amount of blind ore extracted.According to the current company's refined requirements for technical work,we can further explore blind ore body prediction methods,summarize experience,and effectively guide exploration engineering and service production operations.
